What to allow through the firewall, on one page
For the person who manages your firewall or hosting: who is asking, why pages are fetched, how the reader behaves, and the addresses it reads from.
Who is asking
SilentStork reads a website the way a search engine does and writes its owner a short list of what to fix. The owner of this site uses it and forwarded this page.
Why it fetches pages
It fetches pages to find what keeps them out of search. It changes nothing on the site, and it stores no visitor data.
How it behaves
It reads robots.txt first and honours it, fetches one page at a time per site, and slows down on its own when the server pushes back. It identifies as an ordinary browser, so allow it by address rather than by user agent. The addresses are listed below and are read live.
The list is read live. If nothing appears here, write to us and we will send the addresses.
