Refund policy.
Effective July 2026
01. The short version
If you bought a paid plan and it is not for you, tell us within 14 days and you get a full refund. No forms, no wriggling, no "have you tried turning it off". The rest of this page is the same promise in the detail the law (and our payment provider) rightly asks for.
02. Who you are buying from
SilentStork is operated by Michał Woźniak, trading as HEXGRID Michał Woźniak, ul. Bagienna 36C, 70-772 Szczecin, Poland, VAT ID (NIP): PL9552112428. For anything about payments or refunds, write to hello@silentstork.com — a person answers.
03. Payments are handled by Paddle
Checkout, billing, and invoicing are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), acting as our reseller and Merchant of Record. That means the receipt or invoice for your purchase comes from Paddle, applicable VAT or sales tax is collected and remitted by Paddle, and your purchase is additionally covered by Paddle’s Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. We never see or store your full card details.
04. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in the app, or by writing to hello@silentstork.com — we cancel the same day. Cancelling stops the automatic renewal: you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made after that.
05. The 14-day refund
Every purchase processed through Paddle — monthly or annual, any plan — can be refunded in full within 14 days of the purchase date, no reason required. This matches Paddle’s Buyer Terms and it is also simply how we prefer to run things. Ask us at hello@silentstork.com or contact Paddle’s buyer support directly at paddle.net.
06. After the first 14 days
Renewal payments are refundable within 14 days of the renewal date on the same terms. Beyond that window we do not refund pro-rata for time you chose not to use, but if you feel a charge was unfair — a renewal you meant to cancel, a duplicate payment, a billing mistake — write to us and we will sort it out like adults.
07. Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer (or an entrepreneur with consumer rights) in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason. To exercise it, a plain email to hello@silentstork.com is enough; a written statement to our postal address also works. Refunds for effective withdrawal are made within 14 days of receiving your statement, to the original payment method, at no cost to you.
08. If something is broken
If a paid feature does not work as promised, that is a complaint, not a favour: under Polish and EU consumer law you can demand we fix it, and if we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund. Report problems to hello@silentstork.com — we respond within 14 days at the latest, usually much faster.
09. How refunds are paid out
Refunds go back to the payment method you paid with, processed by Paddle. Once issued, the money typically appears in 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer — that part, sadly, is beyond both us and the stork.
10. This policy and the law
Nothing on this page limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country. Where this policy is more generous than the law, the policy applies; where the law is more generous, the law wins.
